Four years old!

Kimberly Elizabeth turned 4 years old on the 8th of July. I can't believe how fast she has grown up, and she is such wonderful little girl!

Here are 4 fun traits of our dear Kimmy:

1. Kimmy is a thoughtful little girl. I have noticed that she is very conscious of people and instinctly knows how to handle some situations. It's hard to explain, but, for example, yesterday in the pool the kids were all jumping in one after the other, and when it was her turn, she stopped on the edge and waited for whoever was in the water to get to the stairs. She didn't jump in and almost land on top of them. I didn't even have to tell her once to watch for others, she just knew to do that. Some people call her "Tex" because she is a tough little girl (and she was born in Texas), but she has the sweetest and caring heart.

2. She loves to swim!! Now that we have a pool in our neighborhood, she quickly learned that there is no need for floaties. She looks like a little fish gliding through the water. Now she can finally get her wish and have swim lessons.

3. Kimberly loves her older sister and will do anything for Megan. It is really touching to watch. It is very sweet to hear their little conversations while they are playing together. Especially when they use endearing words like "okay sweetheart".

4. Kimberly is not afraid to try anything. She is willing to try new things, whether it be sports, riding horses, or food. The little lady even likes salsa and guacamole. She is only afraid of snakes and spiders, and really, can we blame her for that.
