Give Thanks- Day 6

6th- I am thankful for the seasons
Fall seems to be a favorite amongst most people, but I must admit, I love all of the seasons. Winter can be pretty wonderful too; waking up in the morning and looking out your window to see the ground with powdery snow. Don't we all love to curl up with your hot chocolate, a book, and keep warm while the fire blazes in the fireplace or putting on your mittens, jacket and scarf to make a snow angel with your kids? Then when Spring comes and all the world comes to life again. One of my favorite places was in Maryland. There was this tree in our front yard, right outside our bedroom window that would sprout the most beautiful pink flowers all over it when the weather would start to warm up. The lazy days of Summer are great because you can play with your kids all day long and never have to worry about being somewhere or having to complete an assignment. Playing at the beach and camping up in the mountains would definitely be two of our favorite acitivities for me and my kids. Then Fall comes, and your whole house smells of pumpkin, apple cider, and fresh zuchinni bread. One of my favorite fall memories would be while I was living in Utah. Being a CA girl, this was my first real experience with the changing of the seasons. Nothing like the cool crisp air touching your cheeks, playing in the leaves, going to pumpkin patches, picking apples, and of course, the holiday season begins!
