Canyon Lake

We went up to canyon lake for a couple of days, and had a great time. There is nothing quite like swimming in a warm lake all day, tubing down a river, and just having a relaxing time with your family. On Tuesday, we went tubing down the Guadalupe River, which was a first for me and the kids. All of us had our own tubes, and the kids had a fun time. Megan liked the quiet part of the river, and then the rapids came. I was holding onto her tube, but when I bumped into the rocks, I lost her and poor little thing went flowing down the rapids by herself. After that, she had the death grip onto my hands and tube. I laugh about it now, but the whole time I kept thinking what if I can't catch up to her. So that was a little adventure for the day. Jordan loved the rapids and thought that was the greatest thing.
The next day we went on a fishing boat around the lake for a little bit. The kids were really good, Megan was a little unsure, but then surprised all of us and fell asleep on my lap. Jordan had lots of fun riding around in the boat. It was such a nice little vacation and we had so much fun being together.
