A trip back East- New York New York

For Spring Break, we went to the East coast starting in New York City. We flew into Newark, and stayed at the navy Lodge at Fort . Everyday we rode the Staten Island Ferry in to Manhattan, and we were able to see Times Square, Wall Street, Central Park, Little Italy, 9/11 Memorial, the New York City LDS Temple, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty.
 Times Square

 Staten Island Ferry

  Brooklyn Bridge

New York City was the Capital city at first and where George Washington was sworn in as president
 Wall Street
 9/11 Memorial

Katz' Deli- a yummy place to eat we had seen on Man VS. Food
 Central Park
New York City LDS Temple

 Little Italy
Down in the Subway. On one of our many trips on the New York subway, we met a local lady, and she asked Megan what her favorite so far had been. After Megan told her that she liked the subway a lot, the lady gave her quite a bewildered look. To New Yorkers, the subway isn't that cool I guess

Boarding the Statue of Liberty Ferry

 Lady Liberty

Inside the Statue of Liberty crown. It has been since I was 12 years old last time I got to go up inside of the Statue of Liberty, and Kevin and the kids had never been. So this was a really neat experience! And a lot of stairs!!

What an amazing city! Now on to Philidelphia...
