My Mom and Dad drove out to Texas to visit us for a couple of weeks. We had a lot of fun, and, as always, it went by way too fast!
Grandpa and Megan headed to Military Breakfast at her school for Patriot's Week.
They brought a new member of the family with them too. This is Diaz and he is a two year old German Shepherd. He is just a big puppy with lots of energy! He is a good boy and the kids had lots of fun playing with him.
One day, we decided to go to the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio. It was surprisingly cold! Very weird for San Antonio in April.
We ate at Café Rio on the River, and then after a scrumptious lunch, we went on the boat tour rides
This was the favorite after-school activity; playing with Diaz in the backyard and swinging on the swing set.
Diaz likes to play ball, but isn't so willing to give up the ball once he has ran to catch it. So Jordan and him had this little game with each other; Jordan sneaking his hand in, carefully.
Got it!
And off he goes!
This is Sophie's happy place: Laying on grass in her backyard chewing on her rawhide bone.
Jordan and Diaz liked to drink from the hose. It was pretty funny!
Dad and I were able to make it to the San Antonio Temple. It was a nice day spending it with my wonderful dad!
This is where I found Sophie before they left to go home. She was kinda sad to see them leave. Sweet girl!

Kristen, tell your mother I love her hair, very cute on her! Glad you had a fun visit. Jordan and Kimmy told us all about Diaz. Playing ball and teasing a dog are always hours of fun. You have a nice big yard for them to play in. The Riverwalk is always a nice place to visit. Fun to see all the pictures.
