The Amazing Race

For Jordan's 10th birthday party this year we did the Amazing Race. The boys had a super fun time! It is one of my biggest dreams to be on the Amazing Race, so this was a lot of fun planning each of the tasks. The boys were split into 2 teams: Team Red and Team Blue by randomly drawing buffs from the bag. Here are the different tasks that they did:
Task 1: Dance Wii
Let's get this party started by getting your groove on. Each player on your team must take their turn on Dance Wii and score at least 10000 points to get their next clue
The boys had a great time dancing!

Task 2: Here comes Peter Cotton Tail
To continue your adventure, wander to the back yard and find what the Easter Bunny left behind. Gather the ____________ ones for your team and use the treasure to find your next clue.

Hidden inside the eggs was a puzzle with a map of the neighborhood drawn on the back of it. This would lead them to their next clue.

They had to ride the scooters to the mailbox to get the clue.

Task 3: UCSMBAELRN
Inside this envelope you will find some scrambled letters. Unscramble all of the letters in each envelope, 1, 2, and 3 to find out where your next task is.

Task 4: Time to eat!
Lick your bowls clean to complete this task
This was hilarious! The boys had to eat baby food green beans. Only two of the boys chugged it down despite it looking and tasting kinda gross. Including Jordan, which I was quite proud of him for doing since he is not a vegetable fan.

Task 5: GOAL!
Each person takes a turn scoring 10 goals each

Task 6: NERF
In order to continue, you must face all of your fears and hunt the beast! Each person must take aim and hit the target. Watch out! She moves fast (sort of).
 Task 7: Sharapova
How well are you at your tennis skills? Bounce the tennis ball on the racket as you run up and down.

Task 7: Sculpt
Each take a turn at being an artist and sculpt this clay into a masterpiece. Each person secretly takes a clue. Then each player takes their turn sculpting their clue until their team successfully identifies their masterpiece. Once all three players have had their masterpiece identified, the team will receive their final clue.
Sorry no pictures of this task. The boys needed a little bit of help

Task 8: Geography lesson
Along your journey, you have collected flags representing different countries. For your final challenge, match the flags with its corresponding greeting.
Australia- Good Day Mate
England- Heyup me duck!
France- Bonjour
Germany- Guten Tag
USA- Hello
Italy- Bongiorno
Brazil- Ola
Israel- Shalom
Japanese- Konichiwa
Russia- Привет

For prizes, I put together bags of Twix(gold) and Hershey kisses(silver). We then made individual pizzas for lunch, cake and ice cream for dessert, and opened up presents. This was such a fun party! Jordan said it was one of the best birthdays. It was a lot of fun planning it too! Wish I was 10 so I could have participated!

Happy 10th Birthday Jordan!
