California Dreamin'

Well, we have arrived in California! After a crazy week of packing and moving, we made our way towards Cali. 

First was a stop in El Paso, Texas. Jordan liked the fact that you could see Mexico right on the other side of the freeway. We stayed with our old neighbors, The Cains, who graciously offered their new beautiful home for a night of needed rest. The kids had a lot of fun playing with each other one last time.

 

Next stop on "I-10" was Phoenix Arizona. Even though it is a desert city, it is very pretty and I couldn't believe how clean it was. We stayed with my older brother, Shawn, and his family. My kids had never met their kids, and they had a blast! Megan loved being pampered by Natalie, who is 11 years old and is a major dancer. So yeah, you can only imagine. 

The next stop was beautiful Orange County California where we stayed with Kevin's grandma. 

She loved meeting her great-grandchildren and we enjoyed the gorgeous weather! 

We then made our way up the 101, and bunked with my parents in Pismo Beach for a few days. Kevin, Kimberly, and Me drove up a week later to Mountain View  where we met the truck bringing our furnishings at our new house. So far, we like it here a lot. Although the kids say that they miss their friends in Texas and tell me this everyday. Megan said that she wanted to invite them over today for a fashion show. Sounds like fun...
